GBBe aware!! $26 shipping for the repair [Update] After they sent me a repair quote, I asked Insta360 customer service to throw my camera away because I did not want to pay an extra $50 for the camera I bought for $150, which is still under warranty. After exchanging a couple of emails, they offered free repair and shipping. They sincerely apologize for my frustration. I hope they improve the repair policy and process and provide fair support before losing the customers. [Original review] I requested a repair within the warranty period. They charge me $21 for the repair and $26 for the shipping. Their warranty does not mean anything. I will never purchase any products from Insta360 for sure. If you expect good customer support, this company is not the one you should give a try. I seriously recommend avoiding Insta360.

GBNo support, yes defective products I can define myself as a "Pro Level Action Camera User" I'm a motorcycle rider and kitesurf fan and so far I used an ION camera, Gopro (Which I still have) and a few months ago I bought an Insta360 over Amazon. It's cost around $500 in total. I mostly use it on my motorcycle with invisible stick. No plastic clips. But on my last 2 rides I decided to use other mounts. One to my helmet, one to my motorcycle. After 2 rides, easy mount clips got broken. The interesting point both of them got broken at the same point. Which shows us there is a weakness. I used other cameras for years, I did thousands of miles and never had a problem like this. I reached out them they rejected their product defect and offered me to sell clips. I will look someone to sell and get rid of this camera because of weak product accessories and low level support.

GBLove my camera, not the customer service Love my camera, but the lens got scratched so easily and it’s incredibly difficult to get it replaced. Don’t know if I’ll go with another product from them

DKCould be great, but so fragile it is useless I got an insta360 X3 and did read that the lenses could be an issue. So got some lens guards; absolute useless junk. A) they scratch so easily is is mind boggeling, just putting them down will scratch them, making them basically a bad single use product at 30 buck B) if you by some miracle do avoid scratching the lens guard, they will fog up - again making the lens guard useless. So I gave up and use the camera without the lens guard. Second use the lenses got scratch, not by abuse by simple use for something I have use a GoPro for years without ever getting a scratch

GBPeople that moan are d1cks I bought an x3 360 one year ago. Great camera, robust and provides fantastic footage for editing. The protruding lenses are susceptible to damage, but hey, you can see what you are buying before parting with cash, so all the moans about that are just wind and pish from folk who don't look after their gear. That said, I was a dick and bust one of the lenses. Insta couldn't repair it so replaced with a brand new camera for only the cost of the repair, minus 10%. Great customer service. Good comms and turnaround from me sending it to HK from UK, was 10 days.
