Easy to use but expensive Even though their yearly subscription fee is low, their activation fee is high. Additionally, both the cost of data and calls are also high. For my 10-day trip in Japan, I ended up spending around $100. I later learned there are many other similar services available, so I’ll do more through research next time.

After I applied for the Hanacell SIM… After I applied for the Hanacell SIM card, I entered Japan twice in the past 5 weeks or so. The 1st time was early September while my hanacell card got available right away at the Narita airport after I switched my cellphone on. The 2nd time was yesterday after I arrived at the Haneda airport on the way to the hotel. This SIM card has brought and is bringing many conveniences to me each time in Tokyo, Japan. Its signal is also always stable wherever I was. I will absolutely keep using it in future. Many thanks.
