Neither he nor I were aware that the unit have to have further programming so that it could interface with those he already had. I contacted Joe Wood for help. These radios are awesome These radios are awesome. I bought the DLR1020 in a lot for our nursing staff to use and they are really handy. We are able to get assistance from a nurse or any other employee very quickly. We are in a concrete block building, built by the military and the signal is crystal clear. I can stand on one side of the property and call another person from 200 yards away and it sounds like they are standing right next to me... AWESOME!
