Solid Construction: Reasonable Installation George, just received and installed your touted Microvisor retractable hood. It's every thing you said it would be, namely quality in construction. The rear attach magnet concept is ingenious!! Makes it a one guy operation. Do have one suggestion, the knurled height setting knobs would be easier to access/tighten if they were keyed for an Allen wrench....a small item in an otherwise superb design. Also, was impressed with packaging. Solid box, no dings or dents!! Again, as when I ordered, being able to watch the videos and correspond directly with you was/is a major plus. Microvisor 30” Black Your product, well made and delivers as promised to a large extent. A breeze to install. My only slight misgivings are it’s kinda pricey, and I wish it could extend out another inch or two at the user’s discretion. As-is, good purchase and helps keep the smoke and odor under the microwave filter fan for better elimination. This and a stand-alone air purifier almost as good as an exterior vent.

Just what we needed! The Microvisor hood arrived on time. The installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. I was able to install it in about 20 minutes with nothing more than a Phillip's head screwdriver. We were having a problem with grease attaching itself to the cabinetry near the stove whenever we fried anything. It has been two weeks now and the problem seems to be eliminated. It was exactly what we needed.
