GBThe unit itself is seemingly effective. The unit itself is seemingly effective. The platic latch is very flimsy and doesn't stay secure. You need to put metal clasps that actually stay attached.

GBI really love this device I really love this device! I already feel safer when walking alone. I’m out and about by myself often and always looking over my shoulder. Now I won’t be as paranoid, since I have Hootie!
