GBI tired webstore and did nothing I tired webstore and did nothing. The problem is, they have way too many advertisements. The site is not appealing enuff. I'd much rather pay a fee when something sells and have them get rid of the advertisement companies and make their site more attractive like ebay. I kno first hand if they did this many ebayers wud move over or those that left wud use webstore. They'd just have to keep the fee's lower then ebay and walla.. webstore wud be a hit. I've informed webstore of this but till now they've made no changes so with that said they're not interested in becoming as big as ebay or even bigger. Oh and they're not completely fee. When using the site u will get a pop up that begs u to donate to the site.

GBNot worth free, paid $10 to quickly I signed up here too quickly and paid $10 as this was rated high in one review. And they say to pay $10 to get better visibility. But upon checking many other reviews this didn't even show up. Also I checked how many items listed, for example, Nikon, and only 12 items showed up. Other popular items only 10 or less. For the same Nikon on Ebay over 268,000 showed up. Nobody is supporting this auction site. There are no alternatives to Ebay it seems but I can't sell on Ebay due to them requiring their Payoneer system which is to much trouble to sign up and filled with errors. Also the numerous ads popping up all over makes this website confusing to use as you have to sift all the ads to get to what you want.

GBIt is not true that webstore charges fees or is a scam site It is not true that there is any fee to join webstore. You can pay $10 to be verified if you want to, but you don't have to. It is true that they ask for donations on their website, but donations is the operative word. They are voluntary. You don't have to pay them a penny in any sort of fees. It is not a scam site any more than any other auction site is. Unfortunately, there are bad, scam sellers and buyers everywhere, and I've had sellers on amazon and ebay attempt to scam me. When I have asked questions of support, I have always got a prompt reply, which is more than I can say from selling on amazon or ebay. The problem with webstore is that it is what I would call obscure. It's existence is unknown, at least it was to me and anybody I've mentioned it to. The way I discovered it was doing an online search for a certain craft die. I'd never heard of it before that. I bought several dies there with no problems at all. That was several years ago, and it has not come up since then in an online search. It is also a very ugly site that has advertising all over it because that is how they keep it free to use. When I had a store there and some items in it, I got more views than I ever had on amazon or ebay, but unfortunately not a single sale. I never advertised on webstore, so I can't comment on that. I am so angry with ebay right now that I am thinking about trying webstore again. It's been several years since I last tried it. Ebay are now forcing sellers to accept them handling payments to go into a seller's bank account, which takes at least several days, whereas paypal was instant. Even though I gave ebay all the correct information, they still managed to screw up and get the payment to fail somehow and are blaming it on me. I've never liked ebay anyway, I'm not a big seller there, and this experience with the failure to give me my money has given me even more impetus to leave.
