I want to give NO stars I want to give NO stars! Person named Jenamarie out of Los Angeles is a scammer on the Get Your Pet website! Not sure how people get to advertise and scam people and not be screened to be on what I thought was reputable website. This is why I HATE people (for the most part) :(

Dog scammers I wanted to get a small dog I saw, I had the same incident, like everybody else was saying how these this lady was keep pressure me to send $100 for a change of ownership and then sending a different emails that didn’t make sense. Thank goodness PayPal was blocking the transaction and I got my money back even though I lost some money I blocked her and they keep contacting me different numbers.

Some real owners but many SCAMMERS The first 6 or 7 pet owners/pets I inquired about were scams. Owner demanding $100 via VENMO to even "meet" the pet or to "process paperwork" - or asking for $650 for me to buy the pet directly from them- and the pets obviously did not exist. I alerted GetYourPet and they blocked a few of them - but have let so many of these scams stay on the site for weeks and weeks. I did talk to 1 obvious real owner, and there are real owners on the site but if it's a pic of an adorable purebred-looking puppy it's most likely a scam. I just wish the people running the site would police it better!

I had a fantastic experience I had a fantastic experience, but you MUST be careful. The owner and I texted multiple times for several weeks, and I was NEVER asked for money. After I adopted the dog, I paid the fee on website, which was $99. If anyone asks you for money directly or seems shady, don’t do it. Maybe I was lucky — I am definitely a lucky dog mom of a now 5 year old.

Beware SCAM I was asked to send money to the vet for records and papers in the amount of 100 using paypal, when i tried doing this paypal denied the transaction. They kept sending me different emails to try which made me question this. Thank god for paypal looking out for their customers. My mom taught me if its too good to be true...They were offering me a shitz shu at 4 months for 199 when others are charging way more than that. Yes I felt stupid for falling for this. Also for others information I was told by my significant other no vet would use gmail or hotmail addresses. Hope this helps.
