Beware SCAM I was asked to send money to the vet for records and papers in the amount of 100 using paypal, when i tried doing this paypal denied the transaction. They kept sending me different emails to try which made me question this. Thank god for paypal looking out for their customers. My mom taught me if its too good to be true...They were offering me a shitz shu at 4 months for 199 when others are charging way more than that. Yes I felt stupid for falling for this. Also for others information I was told by my significant other no vet would use gmail or hotmail addresses. Hope this helps.

Sad to see you go getyourpet.com The company provided a great service. I got my pet through them. They were as legit as they come. I paid a small fee AFTER the adoption. I was able to meet my doggie and his former mommy before adopting. After adoption, I paid the fee and got the free vet visit as promised. If scammers decided to take advantage of the noble service this company was providing it should not be a reflection of the company. Too bad the people that have provided negative reviews can't make that distinction. Perhaps they are one and the same as the scammers! If you really love pets, this was a way for animals to stay in their home until adopted without having to go to shelter. Sad to see you go Getyourpet.com.

I had a fantastic experience I had a fantastic experience, but you MUST be careful. The owner and I texted multiple times for several weeks, and I was NEVER asked for money. After I adopted the dog, I paid the fee on website, which was $99. If anyone asks you for money directly or seems shady, don’t do it. Maybe I was lucky — I am definitely a lucky dog mom of a now 5 year old.

I rescued my best friend from this… I rescued my best friend from this site. I lost her 4 years later (she was an older Golden) and I am now ready to rescue and not sure where to turn to. You offered us pets that were still in homes that we could find out if raised with children, etc... i've tried rescues but they have no idea about their pets history. Where can i go from here? I even let her original owner know of her passing and he was so sad but glad i let him know

Scammers I reached out to Kevin who had a chiwawa for adoption after making a meet appointment at the petco he send me a message that the vet needed $100 for the adoption papers to be paid thru Zelle or cashapp. I then messaged Kevin back and told him I would have to cancel because I’m not paying anything only the $199 to the website. And surprisingly enough we lost further communication !! SCAMMER!
