Great communication tool, small glitches For weekly presentation updates, this tool allows me to do 5min edits and have it done. My whole team of project managers adopt it since its easy to replicate and the impact is great. Small glitches to work on improving: If you make an edit (lets say, color of a bar) outside of the Edit Timeline function, the tool will override the change and will return it to its previous version. Better integration with MS PPT can be achieved.

Terrific Office Add-in that I highly recommend While the cost of the Office Timeline is weighty, I find that I use it all the time. It is a really handy add-in to use with Powerpoint and I hope they come up with a Mac version. It is a terrific add-in and works just as advertised. It comes with some terrific pre-formatted timelines, however, I noticed that the online version has different ones that I wish you could access without having to pay for another subscription. If anything since both require separate subscriptions at leat give them both access to the same default timelines.

I love the tool and we use it a lot I love the tool and we use it a lot. The resulting graphic is difficult and unintuitive to format.

Office Timeline is a simple and Powerful tool Office Timeline is a simple and powerful tool. It helped me break down and share complex sequences to various stakeholders based on project needs, from primavera p6 to a more user-friendly timeline.

As a contract project manager I use… As a contract project manager I use OfficeTimeline online version. Being in to cloud it can follows me from client to client. Easy to use, seamlessly produces beautiful PowerPoint presentations of my projects timeline that I can present to management. Something ms project desktop should do but does not. As a pm I do t have time to mess around in word or excel, power point to produce a timeline diagram. This app is awesome.
