GBResilio Sync - excellent for file distribution Resilio Sync is a wonderful product. It is easy to try out and easy to purchase the premium features. While it turned out not to be particularly fast for transferring very large folders of files, it works very well for transferring smaller (up to 100 MB) files back and forth between two computers in a seconds. And the purchase of the premium version is a permanent license, not a subscription, which is more difficult to find nowadays.

GBWorks great but not that easy to figure out Basic folders are easy to implement, but the more powerful folders seem to do things on their own until I finally figured out how to get Sync to do what I wanted. Doing that seemed to take too long overall. Otherwise a very useful tool for syncing multiple media servers. Very fast!

DEGreat program to share your files… Great program to share your files without a 3rd party cloud. Windows version runs reliable and has a fast data transfer. Installation and maintenance is much easier than e.g. owncloud server. Encrypted folder is a great idea, if you would like to have another peer online, but dont trust somebody nicking your harddrive from the pi lying on your Desk. Unfortunately the encrypted folder makes some problems. I shared this to a Bananapi with ubuntu server 22 running. Some files cant be transferred. And, hence the encryption, I dont know which ones. Not sure why this is.

DEExcellent tool server less replication! Excellent tool for replication without single point of control (failure). Full 5 stars for promised and provided functionality. Good feature 'encrypted folders'. However, this does not provide 'boxcryptor like' functionality! I would strongly wish Resilio would include file level transparent encryption/decryption like boxcryptor did.

GBCool product, but slow Cool product, but it’s just insaaaaaanely slow. I got 2000b/s internet at the office and 200 mb/s at home, yet I’m getting average transfer speeds of 7 mb/s, highest peak ever being 19.5 mb/s. Perhaps I’m missing something, but other uploads and downloads with other software are utilizing my full bandwidth.
