GBResilio Sync - excellent for file distribution Resilio Sync is a wonderful product. It is easy to try out and easy to purchase the premium features. While it turned out not to be particularly fast for transferring very large folders of files, it works very well for transferring smaller (up to 100 MB) files back and forth between two computers in a seconds. And the purchase of the premium version is a permanent license, not a subscription, which is more difficult to find nowadays.

GBWorks great but not that easy to figure out Basic folders are easy to implement, but the more powerful folders seem to do things on their own until I finally figured out how to get Sync to do what I wanted. Doing that seemed to take too long overall. Otherwise a very useful tool for syncing multiple media servers. Very fast!

DEExactly what I was looking for Exactly what I was looking for. Works well from beginning, has all and just the functions which are actually useful und a clear, well desined UI. Can be installed on my NAS and now keeps my PC/Laptops synced in nearly real time, so I can continue work I did on one seamlessly on another. Transferring data from my smartphone without an usb-cable and manual work is much more comfortable. Only a few limitations on an android (e.g. deleting files on a linked Computer does not delete them on the smartphone) are a little annoying). For me the advanced folders and selective sync option are worth the price for the Home Pro version.

TRGoodbye rainy clouds... For years I used several cloud providers for syncing my files between my devices. Since I have several TBs of data to sync, none of the cloud solution were feasible. They are either too expensive or do not provide sufficient storage. Since I started using Resilio Sync I no longer worry about price/storage issues. Resilio Sync is perfect for syncing without a cloud provider. Definitely recommended.

SEA very positive experience. Resilio Sync manages to fulfill all my syncing needs and they strike a balance between advanced and user-friendly in a manner that works for me. However one small snag, I can not rename a share without the path also being renamed on Android, while I can freely rename a "share name" on PC. A big plus to not being subscription based.
