First of all, this service is fraudulently advertised and yet can’t give the service as promised. I was in a desperate situation trying to contact the Department of Home Affairs in South Africa hence decided to use this service. I took the route of caution by only purchasing a £5 credit as opposed to their pre-chosen £13. Again, I used Apple Pay to avoid unauthorised payments as I have already done comments here. Unfortunately, my £5 hasn’t served its purpose, when I dial the SA number, the rebtel app redirects me to calling this number +44 333 241 4417. I have waited and waited to get connected until the call drops itself. By the time of writing this review, my £5 is still stuck in rebtel’s coffers doing nothing. Below is an extract from their so called support team. A chatbot!!! I'm sorry to hear that. Please ensure you have followed the correct process for making international calls. If you're using a top-up service, you usually have to dial an access number first, followed by your contact’s mobile number. If you're using an app like Rebtel, ensure it's properly set up. If the problem persists, please contact our support team. Shame on the developers and owners of this app; humanity demands honesty.

I have used and still using Rebtel I have used and still using Rebtel. They have really improved in last two years. I wish they can be more generous with their package or airtime, especially for those who have been using their platform for a long time. It's a great network

I am so happy that a friend mentioned… I am so happy that a friend mentioned this app. We have family emergency, the other party cannot use the Internet or her mobile phone. With £9/month I can call her without worrying about my phone bill.

This is a great way to make calls to… This is a great way to make calls to mobiles abroad. I pay the monthly fee, which includes unlimited calls. I phone family in Australia regularly and this works reliably. So glad I found Rebtel, a cheap way to call mobile to mobile abroad.
