GBWorth its entire cost! (i.e., nothing) Requires installation of an MP4 codec, but doesn't tell you. If you try recording without it, you get an error with no indication of what is wrong. Screen recordings have horrible flicker, rendering them unwatchable. I've tried both monitors using various settings, and the flickering persists. Good luck getting help online. Their FAQ page is about as short as Trump's list of qualifications. It literally devotes more space to a couple of worthless images than to the actual questions and answers. On top of that, it froze on me within the first 15 minutes of use. Garbage.

RUGreat free solution for a limited resource PC owner I've been using VSDC for a couple of months already. It's the only non-linear video editor that doesn't constantly freeze my old and I-should-get-a-more-powerful-one PC. I'm still on Windows 7 with memory running low, and feel like VSDC is the only free option where I can perform advanced tricks like split screen and Chroma Key. Love it so far! Thank you for keeping it free.

RSTruly free but a bit overcomplicated I have been using VSDC video editor for years now. I'm free user, and free version has everything I ever needed. You can use vast choice of options and possibilities for even a pro editing. Downside, at least for me, is that this software is a bit too overcomplicated. Some ordinary operations require too much time and patience. You can easily get lost in dozens of icons, options, possibilities. All in all, it's good choice for free users that have enough patience to master this software.

GBStill learning, but loving this tool I have been using VSDC's Video Editor for a few years now. I knew ZERO before starting out with this. It was fairly easy to learn the basics, and I am still discovering and learning to use new features every time I use it. There is so much here that I still know nothing about. I absolutely still consider myself a beginner, but look forward to exploring everything this program has to offer. It's a great easy-to-use program for people like me, and I can only imagine what a more experienced and knowledgeable editor could do with it.

GBEasy to use platform Easy to use platform, I’ve been using the pro version for work for a few years now and I like it a lot. I had been using iMovie for simple editing for years but my job issued me a PC and I found the switch to VSDC to be pretty painless. I’m writing this review because I recently went to renew my pro version and I accidentally paid twice. I emailed to ask for a refund on one and they were kind enough to issue it within 24 hours of my email. So, it’s a great product with great customer service, highly recommend.
