GBI have used the Ipswitch FTP software… I have used the Ipswitch FTP software for many years. When my computer crashed and I could't download the old version of the software I purchased the current version. On the surface at least it appears identical to the old version I used everyday for about 10 years. It's easy to install and set up, always dependable, and is a real workhorse. Its a GREAT software product and I've always found the support to be quick and spot on...It's obviously a GREAT company too!!!

CAThe Ipswitch products I use… The Ipswitch products I use (What'sUpGold & Log Management) are go-to tools in our shop... What'sUPGold is very powerful and it provides us with round-the-clock monitoring of our environment. Log Management is an older product with an out-of-date GUI which needs to be refreshed and made easier to use. It's not as good as some of the SEIM tools on the market today. I find Ipswitch's technical support to be very good once you engage them, their technical support website is not as easy to maneuver through as other sites I'm used to.

GBsomewhat intuitive somewhat intuitive, flexible and convenient to use. The transfer of files is quick and seamless. However, you do need to know what you are doing. It is a little bit confusing to navigate through the file structure, but this depends on how the file structure is set up. It may take about an hour of use or for some people, more time, to get used to the requirements of the system. Once this is done, the system is relatively easy to use and it works great.

GBYou do not have to be a computer nerd… You do not have to be a computer nerd to use Ipswitch. The user interface for moving files couldn't be simpler. FIles can be moved by simply dragging them from a computer folder to a website folder or vice versa. Also, the Iipswitch help menu shows how easy it is to create scripts that upload or download files from a website to a computer and schedule the scripts to run once a day or every 5 minutes.

BRGetting to Support should be easier. Getting to Support should be easier. For someone from overseas just offering the 0800 phone is difficult. By email would be easier. The interested could prepare a text in their language, translate to English and make themselves understood by the Support.
