TRNot a promising experience. Cons: - It associated itself with all types of media files without asking. - To revert the associations one needs to untick every single file type. There is no "select none" option. - After being open a couple of minutes it made my PC come to a total freeze. No mouse, no keyboard, no ctrl+alt+delete, nothing worked. (I've never experienced such a freeze before) I had to shut-down the PC by long-pressing the power button. My system: Win 10 Home 64bit, Geforce GT 425M

GBAbundance of unwanted spam I gave them a 5 star review, I'm now taking it back. They will spam you with adverts for products you don't want or need, if you run their software. Don't install spam-ware.

GBBeware (WINDOWS 10) BEWARE This player messed up my Bluetooth drivers (windows 10), it stutters sound, gets out of sync and disconnects any bluetooth device...I spent 2 days trying to troubleshoot why my bluetooth was acting that way without luck (I even reinstalled all my sound/bluetooth drivers). My last resort was to reset my computer to get it back to normal use, I had to compromise all my apps and some data :[ After resetting, everything was fine until I reinstalled the player and almost instantly noticed the culprit. Pretty upsetting because I liked the player.

GBI downloaded this and it showed pics of… I downloaded this and it showed pics of other software as it said it installed. My system is Windows 10 home 64 bit but I simply cannot find this program on my machine. Where did it go? There is nothing to use and nothing to uninstall. Once my Avast One grabbed the installer and I made it give the installer back. Downloaded a second time from another location to find the same results. 5K Player is not showing up on my computer.

NZPositive reviews are fake Skipping through videos is slugging. Scrolling through the library is sluggish. You can't right click anything except a playing video to get any options. Playlists don't seem to function in any real way, the listed "next" and "previous" shortcut keys don't work at all despite the UI buttons or right click option working. It's difficult to find any useful info through google as they seem to have paid to spam the top results with 5kplayer.com results. It automatically changes all file associations to itself without any prompt. About the only thing I can't think of that it does as good or better than VLC is playing specific 10-bit files without stuttering.
