Nice tool to have in your video file toolbox! I have used 5KPlayer a few times to download videos from a variety of sites, including one which ordinarily blocks downloads. Works quite well. I recommend it to those who download a lot of videos.

Not a promising experience. Cons: - It associated itself with all types of media files without asking. - To revert the associations one needs to untick every single file type. There is no "select none" option. - After being open a couple of minutes it made my PC come to a total freeze. No mouse, no keyboard, no ctrl+alt+delete, nothing worked. (I've never experienced such a freeze before) I had to shut-down the PC by long-pressing the power button. My system: Win 10 Home 64bit, Geforce GT 425M

Good little video player, but crashes too much It seems like a decent program, but it crashes a lot. I would definitely prefer to use this over VLC Player or even PotPlayer (my player of choice these days), but I need for it to not operate so delicately. Fix this issue of crashing and it'll be A1, for sure. Not bad.

Best videoplayer app what you can install Negative reviews or who saying its virus, do not believe these. Personally used years already, no any virus. Using built in windows security which is more than enough and everything is fine. Do not guys use some thirdparty which gives wrong results. But yeah this is best video player app what you can install on window also if you have iOS this have also AirPlay support. Only 4 stars because sometime i see ads and can't remove these, but that happens very rarely.

Positive reviews are fake Skipping through videos is slugging. Scrolling through the library is sluggish. You can't right click anything except a playing video to get any options. Playlists don't seem to function in any real way, the listed "next" and "previous" shortcut keys don't work at all despite the UI buttons or right click option working. It's difficult to find any useful info through google as they seem to have paid to spam the top results with 5kplayer.com results. It automatically changes all file associations to itself without any prompt. About the only thing I can't think of that it does as good or better than VLC is playing specific 10-bit files without stuttering.
