NLSteals answers from other websites Steals answers from other websites. Adds a shoddily placed ''source'' without mentioning what parts they took from where, and then have the audacity to ask you to pay for their service if you want actual help. Full of plagiarism and seeks to abuse the unknowing or unwitting by offering 'easy' help that really won't lead you anywhere a simple Google search wouldn't have brought you.

USVery poor information available from… Very poor information available from Fixya . Much better answers to my DIY repair questions almost everywhere else on the internet. I now NEVER go to FIXYA.

GBIt may be a useful tool but... It may be a useful tool but for me, pc slowed slowed down and froze. Had to clear out cache and as that became a regular thing on visiting, I no longer use them. If it is too good to be free, then its not! Not keen on their cookies and stuff as I believe it was seriously affecting my pc.

USA fix for every thing out there!!! This site is ingenious for anyone wanting to fix her/his stuff, save a ton of money and time, and just know more about their products, I also find myself exploring vintage bicycle and car expert discussions -fascinating. Probably one of the greenest sites out there as well. Thumbs up!

USSaved me $300 - what a great site! my dishwasher stopped working and after I made a few phone calls to a bunch of local repairmen, most wanted $60 just to come to my house and estimated the total repair would be around $250. I googled the problem and landed on fixya and saw several similar issues. I decided to post my specific question and within 15 minutes got an answer. All I had to do is reset the pump valve and since then it works like magic! Thanks Fixya, you saved my day (and bank account:)
