McAfee is a Corrupt Virus! McAfee is a Corrupt Virus!! A SCAM!! I would like to hear from others - to HELP ME STOP McAfee!! Ten years ago, I purchased McAfee Total Protection. It was offerred free on multiple devices - I was guliable into believe their independent reviews. But it is an infection disease!!! Four years ago, I purchased Norton - rated a preferred SW Protection. To date, minimal number of viruses have infected Apple Macs - so this too is probably unnecessary. But even though I have dozens of emails from McAfee about my subscription expiring. cancellation - McAfee has billed my AmEX over $170/ per year. I reached out to AMEX - but said I need McAfee to cancel. So, I even had to Cancelled AMEX! I tried to delete all McAfee off "all devices" - but now, I get Pop Ups from Mc Afee to access my System Security and requesting I unlock such to them! FU McAfee!! Ever 30 sec. another McAfee Pop-up and my Apple System Security Pops Up.. It makes my IMAC unuseable!! I have purged all McAfee files; I "unistalled" all McAfee - yet the 30 sec McAfee pop-ups continue!! Yet, in the Pop-up; it says it cannot be uninstalled - as it self-opens. I HATE McAfee!

Worse than any virus it could possibly prevent the constant notifications, the guilt trips, changing my search engine without my permission everytime I restart my laptop regardless of how many times I turn the feature off.... this software is unbelievably invasive!!! It got to the point of being so utterly infuriating that I had to uninstall it, and yet still, at least 4 months later, I open my laptop to find A NOTIFCIATION FROM MCAFEE! I have searched my laptop high and low to try and find any possible remnants of the software - nowhere to be found, at least under the name McAfee. It is impossible to get rid of, impossible to unsubscribe from, and even more impossible to bear to have on your device. Please, the large majority of operating systems will have built-in anti-malware functions, and if that is not enough for you (completely fair) then PLEASE look into a proper quality software that does not spam you with requests and slow down your device to no avail!!!!

A literal scam. A literal scam. Took my money but my account shows no subscriptions and no option to download it to my computer. The video instructions do not reflect the options I have on my account. Now no one will answer the phone and I can't request a refund because you need it show an active subscription to do that. But they definitely took my money and sent an email confirmation. What a joke and a scam. Steer WELL clear of McAfee.

Re-new yet no price listed The price goes up every year. Renew, renew, renew, auto-renew strongly recommended, yet they don't list the price of what they plan to charge to your credit card. Who buys something without knowing the price?

Don't use this company Don't use this company, same as many reviews, took £99 off my credit card without permission, 60 days to get it back, they simply refuse. I have called 9 times, each time guaranteed a refund, no refund. I am 61 the stress is too much to continue arguing, it's fraud
