GBResponsive and Takes Initiative BB support is always responsive and takes initiative to sovle any of my issues quickly. This doesn't go unnoticed and is appreciated.

GBLimited to what you can accomplish without a developer While I enjoy many of the features of BuddyBoss, it is severely lacking in what should be the most basic of features. For example, using conditional fields for user registration fails for even the most basic of uses. If you need fields that are required but conditionally hidden, BuddyBoss can't handle that. For example, if you answer "yes" to having children, you must answer the required field, "how many children". If you answer "no" to having children, you won't be able to submit the form as BuddyBoss is requiring you to fill out a hidden field. I needed to hide profile types from other profile types within the BB network, but BuddyBoss doesn't support this. I wanted to exclude status updates (i.e. activity feeds) for specific profile types, but BuddyBoss doesn't support this. For example, someone has a profile type "student" but you only want the student to see updates from "teachers" and not other students. I wanted to show user emails on profiles but BuddyBoss doesn't support that. I've reached out to BuddyBoss support on multiple occasions to get work arounds for these issues, but have never received support that fully solves the problem. BB support is ok if you are wanting basic help, but if you need a slight modification, they will let you know that this is a "customization" and not supported. I've had to utilize so many third party plugins just to get BuddyBoss to do what should be basic functions. This product has great potential but the lack of help from support is disappointing. Perhaps consider investing in BuddyBoss if you have a very simple application or if you have a trusted developer (and you've got deep pockets).

MQThe BuddyBoss product is quite fine The BuddyBoss product is quite fine. And about my last technical-financial ticket, I was obliged to be very insistent to obtain a minimal result. That's why I'm not giving five stars. It took nearly 3 weeks to solve a commercial problem that could be solved in minutes. It's really a shame to enhance the product while, in the meantime, commercial error is downgrading the reputation.

AUThe problem was a corrupted data base The problem was a corrupted data base. This is certainly not BuddyBosses problem yet they restructured my data base which I think is beyond the call of duty so thanks to the team particularly Sahib who did the grunt works. Thanks folks

GBLove our BuddyBoss Groups! Our community site uses BuddyBoss Groups. For posting messages and images and giving likes and comments it's great for us! The system sends users an email when someone responds to their post, which is overwhelmingly appreciated but they can also unsubscribe.
