USWarning right after I bought… The ap is okay but right after I bought it I was flooded with hacks trying to sell me add ins to their program. So obviously it’s not a complete ap and you have to spend more to complete it. They obviously sold my address other wise I wouldn’t have gotten all those “offers”. In my opinion it’s no better than Capture One. If you buy it be prepared for a flood of emails trying to sell add ins to their program.

AUON1 is an excellent editing program…but ON1 is an excellent editing program that is reasonably easy to learn to use. One area that is still missing is AI recovery of faces and bodies in old photos. Other programs achieve this now and ON1 should have this. Some recovery is available in the new de-noise and sharpen modules. But it is still weaker in this area.

CHON1 Nonoise compaired ON1 Nonoise is definitely not as good as the products from Topas. But for many images it is good enough and the processing speed, especially on a laptop without dedicated graphic card for the rendering, is much faster than that for Topas. ON1 needs to improve its algorithms. The other problem is that adjustment sliders only seem to work properly at 100%. Much better adjustment facilities are needed.

USExperience is still ongoing… but I… Experience is still ongoing… but I gotta tell you, this is the most confusing product marketing I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been in the SW business for years. Tooooooo many emails, with toooo many “deals” and product excitement that all looks the same… you have to take a lot of time figuring out what’s what….and I haven’t even installed anything yet

USI just upgraded to On1 Photo Raw 20224 I just upgraded to On1 Photo Raw 20224. Wow! What an amazing program! I've gone back and reedited a number of old photos and am amazed at the improvement in the overall color and quality. I especially like the capability to easily target specific parts of photos using layers and masks. All of the modules (i.e., Develop, Effects, Local, and Portrait) are very user friendly, well laid out, and easy to access. I couldn't be more satisfied! The instructional video library is outstanding. Great job, Dan and Dylan!
