Great Great: better price than what I was paying elsewhere, more features to use like the various background music selections, countdown timers, scrolling marquee, and ease of prescheduling a live stream. We also liked the stream performance email immediately following the stream. Cons: in the playback video stored on Restream and on YouTube, there are frame drops, so the video feed stalls every few moments. It almost appears to coordinate with when I click on viewer comments to display them on the screen. The post-stream performance email indicated no lost frames but that is not the case, though it is an improvement over the other company we used previously. Otherwise, this was a vast improvement in streaming performance over what we were previously getting elsewhere.

Excellent Team Excellent Team Update 4-19-2024: Unfortunately, Dell, Elgato and myself had to provide a resolution to resolve the annoying sound distortion that was resulting in unprofessional live broadcasts anytime we would move or open pictures during the live stream. We are not faulting the technical support team. We believe they have not been provided all the tools by restream. To this day, we have not heard a response from the development team leaving us with no urgent resolution. We find that concerning especially since a premium was paid. Now that we are on a new platform, we do not have those issues. Elgato received no compensation for their technical support But both Dell and elgato determined that it was not their equipment or any of our settings. Thus, the problem was occurring with the restream platform. Again, we're not faulting individuals on the technical support team, but restream should have responded to us in a timely fashion instead of leaving us with no resolution. I do live sports streaming from the… I do live sports streaming from the local high school, and I use their LAN as my means to send to the world. They have Facebook blocked on their routers, so Restream is my destination for live streaming, thereby circumventing the blocks. We are currently only signed up on YouTube and Facebook, so the fact Restream allows us a free version that fulfills those two is wonderful!! I love the fact I get reports about our stream quality and viewership. I can't imagine how a rural outfit like ours can not love Restream!

It's a bit of a learning curve and I am… It's a bit of a learning curve and I am still learning, that being said the ability to connect to different streams is very powerful! Once I get some Live streaming under my belt I can see myself being a paid customer. there's a lot you can do on the free account . Another big plus!

You can do better You can do better! Enhance the platform (Studio) to remember cameras, camera settings and audio settings so they don't have to be re-setup each time. Also, you have a big opportunity for built-in scene switching, a feature which OBS doesn't have. You're off to a good start but there's a lot of untapped potential...release some of those features and it will surely elevate your product to the next level!
