AWESOME performance! Listen, for me the most important aspect of a server is performance, and with this hosting's performance, I managed to get 200 CPS when using chunky plugin to pregen the world (most hosts get 20ish, yes I am looking at you APEX!!) Plus it has a free trial, so, what are you waiting for?

Reboot times are great but... Reboot times are great, customer service sucks, memory management sucks. Let me explain. My server is mostly for family and close friends, as such they tend to explore...alot. Due to the horrible backend my server constantly gets out of memory errors and eventually crashes. I have NEVER had this happen with ANY other host I have used. Tried customer service and got the response that narrows down to - "well it's your fault for not "optimizing" your server"...really??? Are you friggin serious?? No attempt to research the problem, wouldn't even listen to my testing procedures or the fact I have never had this issue before. I feel I have paid a year for a service that is unsuitable for use at all. PS...I can run my server on a pc with a weak CPU and 4 gigs of ram with ZERO issues whatsoever.

Great features for the cost I use Winternode for Minecraft. We've had one reset due to memory limits, but I'll take responsibility for that. The admin panel is great. You can access everything via console or SFTP, but there's a clean GUI that allows you to configure sub-users with permissions, basic cron tasks, databases and a few other advanced pieces for those that don't want to touch a terminal. Support response times are excellent via Discord. I had someone helping me in less than 5 minutes. DIY hosting is always cheaper, but I've found that Winternode's features are well worth the cost.

Deployment was fast and access via normal programs and apps to the VPS are easy to setup and function properly. Tech questions were promptly answered correctly and no issues since. Flawlessly running FTB Server with outstanding support I recently started hosting an FTB Revelation server. I tried a couple other fairly low cost hosts and had some issues. When I tried Winternode there was one issue where I needed to change the Java parameters. I submitted a ticket and within minutes they had updated the start command and I’m now able to run the server flawlessly for an amazing price.
