I am a media practitioner and my job is… I am a media practitioner and my job is to keep a journal of events of the day, mostly graphic and visual. Over the years, my files have to be stored in discs ... subjected to wear and tear and of course, the climate change. For unknown reason or reasons, most recorded materials have become useless. With the almost "magical" help of Recovery Toolbox, most of these "useless" records of the past have been revived and restored to become hard copies again ... testimonies of the whys and wherefores of an almost forgotten past.

Windows 11 would not copy the mp4 file… Windows 11 would not copy the mp4 file from a very scratched Data DVD, so downloaded this and it copied the mp4 file off the DVD. I now have a playable mp4, albeit with small glitches from the unreadable bits, but it is infinitely better than having no mp4 at all. Funny thing is, I'm doing this recovery work for a complete stranger - hey ho! :-)
