Very happy it worked! Worked it's magic and recovered files from a 27 year old CD that wasn't in the best shape, not horrible shape, just not great. Tried to recover the CD for about 15 years through several versions of Windows and would pretty much always end up with CRC errors. Tried other CD recovery software with no success. Very happy it finally worked!

It's free and it does the job It's free and it does the job. Never mind the old style interface. It saved me from typing command lines already so: cheers!

Works as it claims to Downloaded their Recovery Toolbox for CD Free software trying to recover a video file from a scratched CD that also had a small bit of paint scrapped off on the front side. Did its job perfectly and recovered the whole 600 MB file without any issues. Clean install/uninstall, haven't seen any malicious behavior from the website or the software.

Recovered everything from old DVDs I was embarrassed to discover that several DVDs we received from our wedding photographer 10+ years ago were not backed up on our NAS. To make things worse, I could no longer copy the contents of the DVDs. I turned to Recovery Toolbox, which recovered ~40%. Then, I purchased a new HP DVD drive and could recover everything! We are so grateful! Pro tip: consider getting a new DVD reader before giving up on your restoration efforts; it helped me restore everything.
