GBGate is great for users of all levels of tech knowledge I needed to get an SSL certificate for my website (it is a non-profit foundation's website) and I am not very tech savvy. the customer rep was extremely patient and provided assistance that was geared for my level of expertise (or lack thereof). That is why I have stuck with Gate all of these years. You do not have to be a technology wiz to use or understand their services.

GBSCAMMED when we ended contract Somewhat decent service over several years. There was a huge hiccup with email a few years ago but we stayed. Due to a change in business plans we opted to switch recently. Then comes the SCAM. They make it very difficult to cancel the service. Only via phone and they do not allow you to delete your card online unless you put in a new valid card. So we were scammed for a full year of service on one site. They state it was in our signed agreement...however we signed up years ago so they changed the terms of service. They also stopped notifying when your renewal was coming up AND added where you could not remove your card. We know this because 5 years ago we did drop a site and received dozens of email reminders. We also were able to remove our card to not be billed and chat with customer support to confirm. These options are GONE and so is our money. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

GBExcellent Service American Heritage Barn has used Gate.com since we first set up a website for our company. We have found the service to be excellent and as the system becomes updated and even more useful, we have been kept in the loop and have never had interrupted service. We are very pleased with the service and guidance we have received from Gate.com

GBOnce I was directed to Customer Support… Once I was directed to Customer Support he was able to clear things up with my card info with the experation date was changed. The web site does not allow one to delete the default card data and reinter the information being changed. If you try to add a card it thinks you are duplicating that card and errors out. I now have updated and paid my two fees. Thanks

GBGreat customer service! I have been with Gate.com probably close to 10 years. I have five websites with them. Throughout the years, I made calls for various issues including technical support and even billing. Every time I have called, they have solved my problem with no issue. And, when I do call, I always get a live person (Lord know, I hate machine generated prompts). Their pricing is very competitive with other companies. And their phone support is top notch. I highly recommend Gate.com
