GBGreat Diabetes Care! When I started the program I was completely out of medication and it was very difficult to manage my diabetes. My PCP was in Dallas/Ft Worth and I hadn’t been able to get an appointment with anyone in the area because they were not taking new patients and my insurance wasn’t covered. Through Eugenia’s guidance I was able to lower my blood sugar through some simple exercises, practicing mindfulness when I ate food to slow down my cravings and this really helped me during the holidays. I also liked that I could get my A1C tested at a nearby laboratory and it was so easy. I do prefer messaging over phone calls because I am often forgetful but that’s just my preference but it was good to talk to a real person and not a chat bot. I recently started reading the articles on what to eat for breakfast and those were very helpful.
