Five Forgotten Passwords… A friend had five Microsoft Word files with one created as far back as 1995 in Word 8. The others were created in Word 97-2003. Unfortunately, he had forgotten all their passwords. I found Password-Find when searching for a method to remove/find the passwords. There was instant success for the four 97-2003 files but no luck for the original Word 8 file despite repeated attempts. I tried several other options and processes and had given up on finding an answer. Then I received an unsolicited offer from Margaret Carter to attempt to manually decrypt the stubborn file.
