DEWorks in theory - fails in real life Works in theory, in practice, it's useless. I'm really not unaccustomed with new technology and use quite a few different apps & tools on a daily basis. However, getting Krisp to ACTUALLY record meeting transcripts seems to be an impossibly difficult task. It's especially frustrating because you only notice afterwards that you don't have any notes for an important meeting, when you actually relied on it. IMO the Krisp UX needs much improvement so it's crystal clear when you are recording for a transcript and when you aren't. I can only guess but I think it didn't record because I had to switch between headphones and audio output mid-meeting (due to surrounding noise). Should be a standard usecase tho. The Krisp app (installed on Macbook) has the toggle for "Note Taker" on and a checkmark behind "Transcribe". You'd expect it to do so. In vain! Same happened 2 weeks ago.

USThis is directed at their billing… This is directed at their billing practices. I've had a reoccurring subscription as a personal user since 2019. Some point during the month of September 2022 they dropped the personal plans but continue to charge for them. My account has been downgraded to the free plan, but they kept my annual payment for the older plan.

MXEasy setup, amazing results The setup process is really easy and fast. It makes a huge difference in calls. We used to have a lot of background noise in the office, which often affected our calls and meetings but ever since we started using Krisp, the call quality has increased drastically and the background noise is gone.

GBGenerally good, slightly buggy UPDATE (Jul 2022): I gave a 3-star review earlier and wrote the things below because I was upset about a change. To be honest, my experience with krisp.ai has been great. Although I experience issues sometimes (why I docked one star), they're not too regular and it has good noise cancellation that works most of the time 8 Jun 2022: I'm really sad about the new change to 60 free minutes a day rather than 240 free minutes a week. It's probably a way for them to earn more money after analysing user patterns. The noise cancellation has been decent though

GBThis little piece of free software has… This little piece of free software has changed my life! Having gone from begging for peace and quiet to record online courses and narrate audible books I can now stay in my office, record, and have zero background noise. I live in south west London so I'm in the flight path to Heathrow and located in the middle of a busy town centre. I started recording with planes rumbling overhead, motorbikes and cars roaring away, even a lonely fly started buzzing round! On playback all I could hear was my voice, clear and 'krisp'. I am gobsmacked! I'm signing up for the professional version just so i can give something back to the amazing people that designed this incredible software. Seriously, it's amazing. Thank you!
