GBBest application for clipping gameplay imo I've been using Medal for more than 3 years now. It is a bit buggy now and again, but the support team are more than willing to help and any problems get resolved very quickly. It allows you to clip games, it has it's own free editor, you can have groups with up to 150 people for voice calls and messaging, and it allows you to upload and share your clips with a growing community. It really is the complete package for creating and sharing gameplay clips.

GBWorse and more expensive version of Nvidia shadowplay Frequent policy/terms changes, limit your videos to very low quality and tiny file size (only 2 minutes per clip unless you purchase premium). Used it for years. It's literally just Nvidia Shadow play but you actually have to install it, pay for it, and it's less consistent and has lower recording quality. Also has a tendency to corrupt your videos and make you lose dozens of clips.

SEGood free software, but even better support! Had some sort of (probably) UI bug which hindered me to both post and re-edit an already edited video. Took it up with support on their Discord server. It was all handled with the best customer service I've ever recieved and it was also fixed within the next update. Outside of the support the app is incredible for being free. Sure, it's not a full on editing software but it does do a lot of it for literally zero money spent.

NLvery heavy since a month liked it for awhile, but it uses sooo much more ram and gives me more spike drops than any other clipping program. when medal is fully quit my pc felt like it was brand new and i didnt even use full recording.
