MYbuggy app the editor is so buggy oml and the clipping doesn't even work sometimes it was working fine a year ago and plus when i try to to publicly post it it just glitches out, i'll rather not clip than using medal and plus you have to pay 20 dollars to remove a watermark and the software is just straight up trash reminder: dont ever download medal or spent money on on the app

GBSuch a shame... Such a shame... I love Medal and have used it for years and had 0 issues. Recently, however, they switched to a 'premium' upgrade option and now I cannot download my clips without a watermark without paying money. Frustrating, but now all of my clips on Medal are useless to me and I will have to find another service to use. I would come back right away if this was rectified.

GBHave to put up with too much stupid stuff. Recording is fine, the length is a minimal issue, but the fact that it is so inconsistent in whether it is going to record or not is stupid. Sometimes the app opens when I start up the computer, and it is ready to save clips, other times it can be open for hours and be glitched the entire time, with no visual indicators. It is really obnoxious to use, especially because it apparently causes horrible lag if you try to save a clip when it IS bugged?? I think that there should be some way to actually know if Medal is still "running in the background" instead of it saying it once and breaking.

GBWorse and more expensive version of Nvidia shadowplay Frequent policy/terms changes, limit your videos to very low quality and tiny file size (only 2 minutes per clip unless you purchase premium). Used it for years. It's literally just Nvidia Shadow play but you actually have to install it, pay for it, and it's less consistent and has lower recording quality. Also has a tendency to corrupt your videos and make you lose dozens of clips.

NLSolid since the very beginning I began my competitive gaming career back in 2018, right around the time Medal.tv grew in popularity. I was excited to try out the service after hearing about its social features and let me tell you—it did not disappoint. At one point, my life consisted of smashing bots, hitting F8, and reliably sharing my clips to gamers around the world. Hundreds of late night gaming hours and thousands of prolific clips later, Medal is still the first download on every fresh reinstall of Windows.
