GBLosing the page I might be writing an e-mail or perusing items on a well-known site when suddenly I lose the page and a returned to the Duckduckgo start page. This is more than annoying.

GBNo differences between Google and DuckDuckGo I have done a search using DuckDuckGo looking for information on a trip on Washington DC, a couple of minutes later my wife ( she has never searched for this topic ) has received several instagram message related to the Washington trip. How is it possible ? Now I am thinking that there is no difference between searching on Google or DuckDuckGo

GBCould be better Could be better. BUT DuckDuckGo never reply to feedbacks or problems found and there are many. Cannot see them replying to their reviews. The add on to stop retrieving data from third parties from mobile apps is great, except they seem to have signed an understanding (and probably other) with amazon, though ring and alexa still refuse to support their apps if one using a vpn. The search using duckduckgo is very similar to Google except for their obsession with Temu and the maps not as good as Google. Would DuckDuckGo be 🤓 they would reply to their reviews, but I guess they just a company who 'almost' made it, nothing else.

GBAffected the operation of my PC so DuckDuckGo had to GoGoGo. Saw this advertised, downloaded it okay and yes you can find what you need as with Chrome. But weird stuff was going on in other areas of my PC. It was not working properly and label printing was the last straw. Instead of printing four 6" x 4" labels per A4 it allowed only one label in the centre of the paper. I tried all ways to correct this, the only solution was to ditch DDG and re-install Chrome. All is back to normal now so DDG is not for me.

GBGood search engine app (android) I use this on android and it's decent. I find if I use google to search something then I'll be bombarded with ads related to that search term for the next few days, ads which are never really relevant to me and just a way for google to make money out of my personal info. DuckDuckGo feels more secure, does what it says on the tin, its just a search engine that doesn't want to incessantly sell stuff to me.
