GBthis is the worst company I have ever⦠this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'm a disabled senior and only get paid once a month and am on a strict budget as you would expect. Since january 2024 it has been nothing but problems with late fees the way they have it set up on my account no matter when I pay my bill there will always be a late fee. The due date has been getting closer every month to my payday. They tell me it depends on my billing cycle, hmm that's funny I've never had that problem before now, but I can make a payment over the phone. Over the phone or internet I might as well announce all my information to everybody. I can't get any cooperation, it boils down to bend over and take it up the tailpipe because that's all the cooperation your going to get and this is an ongoing thing

GBHorrible customer service This is one of the WORST companies I have ever had to deal with ! I set up an appointment Monday to have WiFi installed Wednesday and first they cancelled my appointment and no one even called or had to curiosity to even call and let me know . The following day I ended up having to call back and they moved my appointment from Wednesday to Thursday just cancel it again because apparently they needed my lease to confirm residencey and instead of just saying that I ended up talking to 5 different representatives before I got fed up and asked for the supervisor who also was no help. Now I have to wait an extra 3 days for a simple mistake that could've been fixed when my appointment was made !!! Long story short if you don't like your job don't apply to it ππ

GBXfinity, Windstream, and Fraud For years I was forced to use Windstream (now Kinetic) due to no other providers. Recently I got fed up with the incredibly terrible internet speeds. I pay $150 a month and it's a complete rip off. You simply do not get the service you pay for, I am saying this company must be engaging in fraudulent activity, as there is absolutely zero other reasoning which fits. But, over the passed week I learned of TMobile Gateway, basically a box you plug in and it uses cellular towers at 5G speeds. Now, this gateway is supposed to be far inferior to Windstream, but this isn't my experience. For 50 dollars a month, one third of what those criminals at Windstream charges I am experiencing far superior everything, including performance than the rip off 150 dollar Windstream fraud. For years they ripped me off, not once did it ever perform close to advertised, and after they get done nickel and dimeing the reasonable sounding $30 internet plan balloons up to $150. This is false advertising, complete fraud. Yes they were just sued about their fraudulent ways, in 2021 I believe. There is no way they aren't doing this on purpose, the final bill being 5 times, literally 5 times higher than it should and the internet plan (I had one of the upper tier plans, still not much better than dial up). Anyway, I am seriously thinking of starting a class action lawsuit, this unethical company needs to be put out of everyone's misery. They lost the last one, now looks like it's time to get a bigger list of people who have been cheated by Windstream who ultimately failed to hold true to their own conditions and inflated prices by a magnitude of 5. Wish I could have a return like that. But I wouldn't advertise a service knowing I couldn't fulfill my end. Windstream on the other hand (don't be fooled they changed their name to Kinetic after that lawsuit) is intentionally engaging in blatant fraud. There is no other alternative to the reasoning of the very different product from what is advertised, to that which is actually received. When I saw this rinky dinky TMobile Gateway destroy an upper tier Windstream version of internet, plan and modem, I realized in full that Windstream is knowingly, willfully, and aggressively engaging in fraud. False advertising, and fraud is why I do not ever plan on going back. It's like the ghetto of internet. Monday, I am letting my bill lapse, not paying those criminals at Windstream, they already ripped me along with thousands of other people off, tens of thousands of dollars over the course of a decade of inflated bills where I not once got that which I actually paid for. I don't think anyone I have ever talked to about Windstream was actually pleased with them. Everyone I have spoke to about Xfinity (Windstream fraudsters) hates them. And it's no wonder. I want some of my money back, heck with the shotty internet, I'm done with respect to any more business with Xfinity. Definitely wouldn't settle for a year of free internet, or even 10 years (because I realize Xfinity won't stay true to their word). For me TMobile Gateway for $50 which is out preforming Xfinity ($10 Internet but they charge $150 for) is downloading almost 8 times faster, uploading 3 times faster than windstream. Plus haven't been booted off any!

GBDo NOT buy Windstream Do NOT under any circumstance buy any Windstream service or product. I changed to Windstream two months ago and it has been a living hell. Their equipment failed in two months. They have no humans to resolve an issue that requires a technician. Their call center is in the Dominican Republic and be prepared to hold and wait for hours. I have sixteen man hours invested to resolve every screw up imaginable and I still have problems. They suck!!!

GBWindstream / Kinetic - Very Poor Service We subscribed to Windstream phone and internet service. The only package supposedly available for our area is 3 MBS download speed, which while not great, is better than nothing as there is no cellular service either. We have long periods where, by their own speed test meter, we only get 0.5 MBS speed. We contacted Windstream and they said the only option for more speed was a second line. We agreed and the technician showed up to install. Upon reviewing the lines he said it is a general bandwidth problem in our area and the line would need a different fix to increase speed. He did not install the second line as he said there was no point. It has now been 2 months and they still can't fix it. We are exploring getting satellite internet as we have had family members switch and are pleased. There are no other options in our rural area. I highly recommend utilizing a different company if possible. Both service and customer service are poor.
