Don't start subscription until service is fully back! I called the company, plugged my phone in, and just waited. After 25 minutes, someone picked up, but the gentleman's English was so bad that he neither understood what I was saying nor could express what the problem was or exactly when it was going to be fixed. Waste of time. I downloaded Play G TV from Google Playstore on my phone and am able to watch it, but I don't know what show is on because I can't get the program guide at all and can't go back in time, so what's the use. I wish the company would just say when or if the service is back on LIKE BEFORE or if it is NOT COMING BACK LIKE THAT, SO I CQN CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION.

Great customer service I am German, but living in the states. For me it’s worth to pay the amount of the premium service. I love the time shift, to go back in time, or to choose from movies. Back in Germany I definitely paid more for TV without all those features. Issues that I addressed to the messenger, have always been answered patiently. There were sometimes a few technical issues, sometimes caused by myself or errors from the program, but they always have been solved.

A Wonderful feeling of home in a new land! My husband immigrated to the US from Germany when he was 60 years old. German TV has been a lifesaver for many years now by providing great news programs, wonderful old movies along with current happenings across Europe. The special programming at “Fasching”, and during other holidays is wonderful. In addition to all of that there is soccer, tennis and formula one racing to make him smile. On rare occasion we have had to get some help from the technical team and they worked quickly to resolve our problems. They were friendly, patient and professional! We’ll be with them for many years to come!!!

$300/ year is too expensive $300/ year is too expensive. Lots of content but should be same price as Netflix. Much of the content can be had for free using Mediatek app. Apps also don't work properly on several devices, so definitely try before you buy. I'd get this if they offered more functionality, better apps, and much better content than I can get for free+Netflix+Prime. Otherwise, the latter is better.

Website down Normally, I would rate their service 5 star, but its currently down...can someone from the german tv company please let us know if and when the service will be back. To add to this...if you look at the trust pilot profile, the company has unclaimed their profile. Furthermore, the reason why nobody can get to their servers as that the DNS resolution for these systems has stopped (these systems are no longer known in DNS). Coupled with the fact that phone calls go unanswered, I would believe that the German TV Company is no longer in business...time will tell, I suppose
