GBThey need to rename the company "Closed Web." They need to rename the company "Closed Web." Their latest strategy on Yahoo News is to just reject any comment that triggers any keywords they don't like. Or if we don't name them Closed Web, we could call them Lazy Web, because they don't really do any actual moderation of chat comments. All they do is reject their "trigger words." Lol

GBI am not pro-Trump I am not pro-Trump, but I am Pro-marijuana legalization. Trump did two things as president that I approve of. He signed the 2018 farm bill, which federally legalized hemp, a variety of cannabis. He also signed the First Step Act, a significant piece of criminal justice reform. Every time I have raised these points on Yahoo! Comments, that Trump signed these two pieces of legislation and, by doing so, has done more for cannabis legalization and criminal justice reform than any modern president, the comment is censored and blocked by OpenWeb. Truthfully, I despise Trump and disagree with most of his policies, but I credit him with these two accomplishments. I did not vote for Trump in either of the elections he ran in and do not plan to this time, but I have had some positive things to say about him regarding these two matters, and almost every time I have said something positive about Trump, it has been blocked by OpenWeb. If I say something positive about Trump in Yahoo! comments, I can be 90% sure the comment will be blocked. I call that censorship.

GBAvoid OpenWeb if you can *OpenWeb bogs system memory * OpenWeb bogs system performance * OpenWeb makes broadband feel like dial up * On pages where OpenWeb editing is enabled, it usually requires multiple attempts to edit, or, you have to delete the comment and post it as a new one, but deleting the comment usually takes more than 1 attempt If you're considering using OpenWeb on your site, visit a busy site like Fox News and try it out on their top stories, you'll see how horrible it is. OpenWeb may be pervasive, but not sure why, there has to be better performing alternatives.

GBGlitch, Glitch, Glitch I honestly don't know how this company is still in business, its 2024 and kindergarten could design a less glitchy website, unreal.

GBThe modern day STASI 3 weeks ago (early July 2023) I sent an email to OpenWeb that my response to an article on yahoo, asking why was rejected? I have never received a response back. I made sure the email address was correct, by a few searches on the internet. So, the bottom line after reading other posts on Trustpilot, that they're like the old Stasi. Nothing I wrote was hateful or disturbing, It was a climate change, and wildfires, and I posted the forest service web site form the US government website. Maintaining, and control burning and keeping the area fire proof as much as possible, and most fires started with arsonists with facts that I added. I guess facts don't matter living in 1984.
