GBDON'T DO IT! DON'T DO IT! I did the 7 day trial. I called to cancel within the 7 days. Whoever I was talking to asked me for my info, she said she couldn't verify me and that she would look into it and call me back. I still haven't heard back until I looked at my bank statement and noticed they're charging me $74.00. Oh course they won't give me a refund.

GBGot a question - you only have to Ask! I find a lot of useful information on this site. As I run a charity quiz I like to double check any subjects I may set as questions and find Ask is an invaluable source of information. Even if it is something that has been lost in my memory, I can put a generalization in and Ask can find it. As a pensioner it helps with my decreasing brain cells! For information and general browsing I can highly recommend Ask.

GBThis is a fraudulant website The website advertises that you can join for "$1". What it does not say (in any clear way) is that immediately after you pay $1.. you are ALSO obliged to pay a $55 per month membership fee. I contacted the company less than 1 hour after trying the service (unsuccessfully) and was told that, "my membership was canceled." This would have been fine except when I checked my bank I found out that I was still being charged $55. Customer support said it is impossible to cancel the $55 charge, because I agreed to pay it. (Of course, I was completely unaware of this charge. This is where the fraud comes in.) Low-level staffers are instructed to not refund any money. The only way to get your money back is to talk to senior management. The revenue collected through this deceptive practice is clearly a substantial portion of their income... Or else they would not do it.

GBAsk.com used to be a helpful answer to… Ask.com used to be a helpful answer to any question. In my experience, no longer. It's become the most irritating smorgasbord of advertisinadvertising with nary an answer in sight. Ask you should be ashamed perverting a good thing to trash for cash. Shame
