GBGreat service, received in a week and well packed. Ordered two Stevie Nicks Barbie dolls when no one else had them at retail. The retail price is $55, they had them at $60 with free shipping, so fair pricing imho. I was a little concerned by all of the negative reviews of FAO Schwarz. However, Iordered on a Friday, they loaded tracking numbers by Monday, and I got confirmation that the packages were picked up and headed to me by day 4. Got them on my porch 6 business days after ordering. They were in their Mattel shipping boxes, also packed inside outer boxes with packing pillows. They are in perfect shape! No complaints here. PS they are now out of these sold-out-everywhere dolls, but glad I got mine.

GBNot the Best Comeback... Was so happy that FAO made a comeback and I know it was Christmas and being a zoo was exactly what I expected, BUT what I did not expect was inexperienced staff who could not put tissue paper around items in their beautiful shopping bag! After all, the bag is branding, yet the help behind the counter seemed inexperienced and/or plain stupid. This is just simple boutique service and the line was not even that long! ALSO I found the layout to be non shopper friendly-The worst! Was very surprised to have felt this way having been a regular shopper since childhood and now as an adult to buy gifts. Lastly, no doormen in uniform?? Very disappointing!

NZWaste of money I bought F.A.O Schwarz 753-Piece Build-A-Coaster Playset-753 piece set for my 9 year boy grandson . The instruction manual is very difficult to follow even for an adult. The construction is fragile and is NOT WORKING as suggested. It was a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

GBOvercharged and ripped off. Overcharged and ripped off. Purchased an item at $31 99 Discovered later it was retailed at $19.99 elsewhere. The company refused to accept a return. Shocking service.

GBFirst & last time First time ordering from here and this has been the worst online shopping experience. Problem 1: They're store is overpriced. I had this FAO nostalgic moment, why I ended up on their website. Even though some stuff was pricey, I did see some stuff that I liked so I gave in. Problem 2: Besides their shop being overpriced they also charge an arm & leg for shipping. For a medium sized sketchbook, 2 packs of markers and crayons, they wanted to charge me $26 for shipping. So they had an ad: if you pay $100 it's free shipping. I didn't want to spend that much but I figured why not. Problem 3: When I checked out they charged me for shipping anyway. I had to write them and ask to remove the shipping charge. They resolved it fast and I was happy. Problem 4: Then came the next problem. It's been over month since I first placed my order and I still don't have anything. "Free shipping" means they use Fedex Smartpost, the cheapest and crappiest shipping option EVER. My order was left in Kansas for two weeks with no movement. Now it's stuck in Salt Lake. All FAO customer service can tell me is that it's on its way. My sons' birthdays are in 12 days and I intentionally placed this order early. Never again.
