Expensive Failure 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Update: I've officially lowered this rating until Run Chicken follows through with my warranty. I have had this door installed for 3 months and it isn't working properly. Locking chickens out, opening randomly in the middle of the night, not always opening... I understood the first troubleshooting and even the second one.... but now dealing with customer service has become an arduous teeth pulling journey where I feel like I'm putting in a lot of time and brain power to fix a product that I supposedly have a warranty on. Not to mention, as many have said, it can only be done through email. Which can take hours or days to get replies! I loved this door, UNTIL it started to fail constantly!! It doesn't matter what setting it is on our how many times I clean and change out the batteries!! Stays 1 ⭐ until Run Chicken makes it right. Old review: Currently working with customer service to resolve this issue, but it works for a few months and then everything starts going down hill. Door randomly opens and shuts for no rhyme or reason, and it's especially dangerous when it opens randomly in the middle of the night! Again, hopefully their team can help resolve this problem, which is why I gave it 3 stars, but if it's not fixed, this door gets 1 ⭐. To expensive to have it failing 3 months after install!! On the positive, the customer service team, thus far, has been responsive and are trying to help.

Great product and customer service Received and installed this door with no issues. Worked awesome for eight months, then had issues with the door programming not compensating for daylight savings time. One email to the company and they sent simple instructions on how to fix it and it worked like new. Great product that makes having chickens even easier, especially when you are out of town for a few days, you can rest easy knowing they are locked up safe. Great customer service, very willing to help.

Great customer service… I’ve been very happy with our chicken door. I had to reach out to customer service for support after a couple years. They were prompt, kind, and helpful. I sometimes took awhile to respond, make a video, and send it, but they were patient with me and consistent in following up until the problem was resolved. Very happy!
