A valuable course that was both informative and engaging; keen to look at other courses run by Industrial Scripts! A great introduction into the art of Script Reading! The course clearly outlines each stage of Script Reading for both TV and Film which was only strengthened by our teacher's knowledge. Established as both a Reader and Writer, he could efficiently answer all questions from a diverse group. The course materials give you a detailed breakdown of everything we went through for ease of reference. I would definitely recommend the course to my colleagues!

Script Reading Course Good stuff! Intense but also very informative and helpful; you really do hear everything you need to know, and this is coming from a complete amateur to the world of film industry. Would maybe have liked to discuss a little more the script we were assigned to read and also hear the tutor's personal opinion of it, but otherwise - great!

exceeded my expectations I've been using Industrial Scripts on several occasions during the last two years. Each time they took great care in understanding what the goal of the script was and making really clear what was interesting, where it was falling short and most importantly why they thought that way. They also take the time to provide advice on how to improve the weaknesses, without breaking down the initial intent. They are extremely valuable and I will keep using their service.

A great step forward I found it very intense but helpful in thinking about script reading analytically. There was a lot of good information on books to read and a great list about companies to contacts, which is invaluable. There was also some very insightful information about different genres and how to approach story structures. Although I'm still daunted by the prospect of how to analyse scripts well, I think this course broke down the basics and is a sturdy stepping stone. Also a great place to meet likeminded readers/writers. A great start. I would highly recommend it.
