Great Books and Fast shipping I've worked with York photo a few times, They are great books for low prices. The construct of the book and shipping times are pretty fast compared to others as well. The colors, and page layouts give you so much expression in your custom books, when printed the colors are the same as they are on your screen.

Lower quality & unacceptable sort sequence. Photo quality has diminished over the past year, but the price is still competitive other than the added cost of shipping, which is ridiculously high if no coupon code is used. Also, when I order photos which are numbered, I select to have them sorted A-Z sequentially. They come back in somewhat sequential sequence, but not really. I get them in order like: 1, 10, 100, 11, 12, 2, 20, 200, 21, 22, 30, 300, 301, etc. This causes me to spend unnecessary time manually putting them back into correct sequence to send to my customers. When I say photo quality has diminished, I mean they're coming back washed out, not as sharp and crisp with vibrant colors as they had been in the past.

I’ve been ordering projects I’ve been ordering projects, prints and gifts from York photo for years and have never had a problem with the products. But this year my ornaments had spots on them and had to be reproduced and my first order of holiday cards were cut off on the one edge and had to be reproduced. Customer service did address the problems and put a solution in place quickly, but this is the first year in about 9 years I’ve had so many problems.

I've used York photo since I sent in film !! Loved making my photo book and using the interface provided. That part was easy. The shipping was ridiculous. I'm not sure what this new UPS service is, but it wasn't. Meaning I watched my package go to New Jersey from the mid-Atlantic region, and thence to near Seattle, before coming down here and being delivered by the post office. York photo charges plenty for shipping and it could have been here much faster using the USPS for the entire journey. Next order I paid $5 extra for 2nd day shipping (which I thought meant actually two days later) and it took a complete four days to get here, because second day does not mean that. It actually means two whole days besides weekends. So more clarity around shipping would be so useful !!!

Impressed I ordered 5 16x20 pictures and 2 11x14 pictures. The quality is really good. They were all packaged really well and they were delivered within a week of ordering. I will use this company again in the future for any other photo needs as I am very impressed with my experience.
