GBSupport is great. Service could use work. Support is great. Oleksander is a great agent! The service is good... but I'd like the ability to use my own caching plugins instead of the default. Sites can run a little more slowly than I'd like - even when optimized. I'd like the managed Wordpress solution for "power users" (marketed as EasyWP Turbo) to compete with Kinsta.

GBNamecheap (Andrii) Support 10/10 Andrii was insanely helpful. I'm new to namecheap and I didn't expect this level and degree of support. There's a lot I don't know and I got the perfect balance of explanation and links to guides and was never made to feel inferior for not knowing an answer to a stupid question (say what you want, there are such things as stupid questions). If I needed only one reason to use namecheap, it'd literally be due to support. Nothing could have made the entire conversation better. I can't find one thing I'd improve on. From ease of contact, to level of response, to being actually excited to write a review (never thought I'd say that), it straight up made the rest of my day. At 10am.

GBdon't bother don't bother. SFTP is extremely slow, they've either improperly throttled user I/O to the point of breaking basic operations or the server they put me on was failing listing any directory takes 10 seconds or more, uploading 500MB of data (an existing wordpress site), ~20000 takes 7+ hours. tried multiple internet connections, and SFTP clients (filezilla, openssh sftp, rclone, lftp). support were not helpful and said everything's fine after they just logged in using my credentials without consent and didn't try to do anything. maybe it works fine if you create and use a wordpress site using their wizard. if you're migrating an existing site: don't. it's a total waste of time

GBA rare occurrence with the Live Chat… A rare occurrence with the Live Chat rubbish... not a 'bot. Listened. Interpreted. Fixed. A few (well, most) companies could learn the importance of having people knowing what they are doing to respond to idiot customers!
