In the past, I have noticed distinct variations in this noble coffee, not only due to sourcing issues, but most importantly from inattentive roasting; never from OCB. Product delivery sent me into frenzied labor. The coffee is great. All of the Papua New Guinea coffees have an unusual flavor that I really like. However, every other company that has sent me a 50 lb delivery of green coffee has sent it in sealed 5 or 10 lb plastic bags that I can put on my shelf and store. This 50 lbs arrived in a burlap bag. There are such things as coffee weevils, and because this is nearly a year's supply of coffee for me, I worry about stuff like that. I immediately started filling every big mason jar I had on hand.
