Edit: had already reached out to purple carrot support before posting this review. Was told that they don't refund substitutions except in cases of allergy. After a lot of back and forth they made it clear there was nothing they'd do about this, and that its just a part of their distribution model. I'm a little put off by their reply suggesting I reach out to their support team since they already know that they weren't going to fix it.

When I received an arugula that was yellow and going bad, you immediately refunded me no questions asked. Also, you didn't pressure me into buying my meals every single week or every single month either.

Your ingredients are always fresh Your ingredients are always fresh! Your packaging is minimal. And we love how all the savory recipes are filling, w/o depending on bread, potatoes and rice to fill the body. So many choices and variety within our vegetarian/ gluten -free requirements. Thank you!

Consistently bad ingredients and not… Consistently bad ingredients and not enough ingredients. EXAMPLE: Recipe calls for 1/4 cups jam, they give you 1 tbsp. Vegetables arrive moldy and/or wilted. They ruin an entire meal with lack of ingredient or expired ingredients, they will not refund the entire meal, they will only refund you minimally for the bad ingredient.

Better vegetation meal kits Overall, I like Purple Carrot. But I have had some issues. 3-4 times the food included has been unusable. Cauliflower has been yellowed and some black, Scallions withered, and on one occasion the kit included radishes for slaw. Only instead of 4 radishes there was only one. I believe you need quality control where ever the kits are put together.
