Edit: had already reached out to purple carrot support before posting this review. Was told that they don't refund substitutions except in cases of allergy. After a lot of back and forth they made it clear there was nothing they'd do about this, and that its just a part of their distribution model. I'm a little put off by their reply suggesting I reach out to their support team since they already know that they weren't going to fix it.

LOVE this meal service Love this meal service! Its so hard to find worth vegan meals and this service is a must! I love that you can pick meals you make yourself (still super easy) or buy prepared meals or frozen. They also have a great selection of "plantry" items which includes really good "cheese" and different vegan drinks or just every day items that should be in all pantries. I am so happy I found this meal service, they literally have something for everyone and it makes me feel great that I am making delicious meals quickly that are actually great for me!

Well worth the money! Couldn't be happier with the quality and simplicity of these recipes! Not only that, but Purple Carrot makes it so easy to divvy up dinner duty—without making it feel like a burden to my partner or I. But you know my favorite part? My 78-year-old father loves eating Purple Carrot dinners with us, which was a fun surprise!

Better vegetation meal kits Overall, I like Purple Carrot. But I have had some issues. 3-4 times the food included has been unusable. Cauliflower has been yellowed and some black, Scallions withered, and on one occasion the kit included radishes for slaw. Only instead of 4 radishes there was only one. I believe you need quality control where ever the kits are put together.

The entrees are creative, multi-layered in their flavors, easy to prepare and made with quality ingredients. My husband was skeptical at first about eating vegan, but he been wowed by these dinners and now looks forward to them. And I love having someone else make the decision about what to make for dinner!
