Not only that, but Purple Carrot makes it so easy to divvy up dinner duty—without making it feel like a burden to my partner or I. But you know my favorite part? My 78-year-old father loves eating Purple Carrot dinners with us, which was a fun surprise!

Edit: had already reached out to purple carrot support before posting this review. Was told that they don't refund substitutions except in cases of allergy. After a lot of back and forth they made it clear there was nothing they'd do about this, and that its just a part of their distribution model. I'm a little put off by their reply suggesting I reach out to their support team since they already know that they weren't going to fix it.

My mom and I have spent years making fancy recipes that take hours out of all sorts of vegan cookbooks and barely any compare to how amazing and tasty these meals are. If you have the time and the money, purchase purple carrot immediately because otherwise you are seriously missing out... seriously.

Love the freshness and flavors I have been using meal kits weekly for probably five years now. Your boxes have the freshest ingredients I’ve ever had with a meal kit company. It is a new diet for me, so I am exploring new things, and you’re providing an excellent resource for that. I have, however, had a minor ingredient that was either missing or not as described in the booklet you send on a couple occasions. These are the ones that I have not received an email notification for, which those are always appreciated. Even though the kits are more expensive than others, I feel they are worth the extra money. I continue to look forward to getting your unique and fresh boxes weekly.

Shockingly disappointed in their… Shockingly disappointed in their website sign up process and horrible chat/service request process. I was so excited to start a subscription but they've ruined it. Their horrific marketing strategy is aggressive. Despite the tasty meal options I would never use such an intolerably aggressive company. Don't be fooled by them, they are definitely selling information and using the survey questions to profile and sell. They also make it so hard to cancel your subscription and close out service request before they're processed, its a very shady company. Any company that makes it hard to get help or close an account tend not to be forthright. They respond to reviews in hours but they can't make a functional website that is ethical.
