Great recipes, but missing items several times We have been enjoying the recipes and the degree of preparation, as well as the recyclable nature of the packaging. However, we had at least our third meal today that had an ingredient missing. Tonight's meal was cauliflower steaks and the cauliflower was missing. Really need more quality control on the meal ingredients to make sure all are included.

do NOT use Purple Carrot do not use Purple Carrot. I consistently had rotten produce. I canceled after several boxes that were bad and my card had not been charged yet for the box and the order had not shipped, but I was a few hours outside of their cancellation window and they would not do anything to help me, I got the box and again had rotten produce in every kit and they still would only refund me a few dollars for the ingredients that were spoiled, but that left me with a box that could not be used. Don’t buy into it. It’s a terrible company.

Well worth the money! Couldn't be happier with the quality and simplicity of these recipes! Not only that, but Purple Carrot makes it so easy to divvy up dinner duty—without making it feel like a burden to my partner or I. But you know my favorite part? My 78-year-old father loves eating Purple Carrot dinners with us, which was a fun surprise!

Better vegetation meal kits Overall, I like Purple Carrot. But I have had some issues. 3-4 times the food included has been unusable. Cauliflower has been yellowed and some black, Scallions withered, and on one occasion the kit included radishes for slaw. Only instead of 4 radishes there was only one. I believe you need quality control where ever the kits are put together.

Consistently bad ingredients and not… Consistently bad ingredients and not enough ingredients. EXAMPLE: Recipe calls for 1/4 cups jam, they give you 1 tbsp. Vegetables arrive moldy and/or wilted. They ruin an entire meal with lack of ingredient or expired ingredients, they will not refund the entire meal, they will only refund you minimally for the bad ingredient.
