GBConsistently bad ingredients and not… Consistently bad ingredients and not enough ingredients. EXAMPLE: Recipe calls for 1/4 cups jam, they give you 1 tbsp. Vegetables arrive moldy and/or wilted. They ruin an entire meal with lack of ingredient or expired ingredients, they will not refund the entire meal, they will only refund you minimally for the bad ingredient.

GBWell worth the money! Couldn't be happier with the quality and simplicity of these recipes! Not only that, but Purple Carrot makes it so easy to divvy up dinner duty—without making it feel like a burden to my partner or I. But you know my favorite part? My 78-year-old father loves eating Purple Carrot dinners with us, which was a fun surprise!

GBGreat recipes, but missing items several times We have been enjoying the recipes and the degree of preparation, as well as the recyclable nature of the packaging. However, we had at least our third meal today that had an ingredient missing. Tonight's meal was cauliflower steaks and the cauliflower was missing. Really need more quality control on the meal ingredients to make sure all are included.

GBGreat service but with some downsides Some recipes are kind of difficult but they've been doable. Would like it if there were alternative instructions for cases where you might not have certain equipment like blender, microwave or oven. Also, don't really know how you'd go about contacting purple carrot if there was an issue with order, delivery, ingredients, etc. Other meal services have easier ways to identify concerns without having to hunt down contacts.

GBWe had a substitute that was nasty We had a substitute that was nasty. That sucks, and we paid for it. If you're subbing meals you guys should pay for them or just don't send anything. Edit: had already reached out to purple carrot support before posting this review. Was told that they don't refund substitutions except in cases of allergy. After a lot of back and forth they made it clear there was nothing they'd do about this, and that its just a part of their distribution model. I'm a little put off by their reply suggesting I reach out to their support team since they already know that they weren't going to fix it.
