GBI like Marley spoon I like Marley spoon. Once the on track delivery service finally decided to start leaving the packages up by the house instead of down at the road. All the deliveries have been without a hitch. The ingredients are fresh. The recipes are fairly easy to follow there seems to be a wide choice. so all a good experience

GBI love Marley Spoon I love Marley Spoon. They pick the recipes that they offer me from my preferences and many times I do not change the preselected ones. The ingredients are always correct and fresh. If the recipe calls for a clove of garlic they send the whole bulb. Many of the recipes can be cooked in 20 to 30 minutes and are absolutely delicious. What could be better than that?

GBGood recipes, extra fatty meat, and bad customer service. The recipes are delicious and creative for a meal service. The recipes are the best of all the meal subscriptions. BUT there's too much fat in the ground meat esp the ground beef. They don't stand behind their boxes. As in if there's issues with your box then take pictures otherwise they don't care. They are more expensive than other services too. I don't order as much or as often as I would if customer service were better.

GBThere is no accountability for damaged There is no accountability for damaged, rotten or items missing. I have received bad fish and emailed with no response. The delivery is not consistent. If Tuesday is the assigned delivery day each week I may get a text that it will be delivered, then wont show up for another day.

GBBest of the boxes Marley Spoon has easily outclassed the competition. As a frequent and long time consumer of Hello Fresh, Blue Apron, Hungry Root and Home Chef’s meal kits I can confidently say Marley Spoon has superior ingredients and recipes. I have cooked nearly 2000 unique meals with the other services. MS has provided techniques and quality recipes with distinctly fresh and speciality ingredients that are a tier above the competition. As far as pricing goes I am still happy with it being 33% more expensive than Hello Fresh and 12% more than Blue Apron. In terms of complexity, you don’t want to be a novice with many of these recipes as tools like the Broiler are not as forgiving as other meal kits’ simple fry, sauté or bake options. It is not the same brand heavy/ grocery experience as Hungry Root, and seems to lack a weekly meal prep option.
