Hey CI customers BEWARE!!! Hey CI customers BEWARE!!! Hey CI customers! Just a heads up to beware of CI signing you up for memberships without your knowledge. I was signed up for their PURO PERKS membership and charged $14.95/month .. I went back to check and was charged back in 2022 two times for the same. The service rep explained he canceled the most recent and I would be contacted by customer service rep by email. BEWARE OF POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES!!! I believe when you order there is box to UNCHECK to not sign up.. if you miss it and you will the charges start coming!! Its a shame as I recommend to my golf club members and friends all the time.. now that will have to change!!

CI is sending me magazines that i never ordered. others are also complaining about this. some sort of scam from a very shady company! beware! i have ordered for several years from CI. in september, i received several magazines in the mail that i did not order. when i called the magazines, they referred me to a publishing company. when i called the company, i was told that CI had them sent to me as a promotional item. i had the publishing company to stop any magazine orders to be sent to me. i ordered some cigars from CI about a week ago, and today, i got magazines from GQ and Harper's Bazaar. when i called the publishing company, they told me that they had put a stop to sending me magazines per my request in september. they said that CI was responsible for sending them. this is some sort of scam, where the magazines will eventually try to bill you for a subscription that you never ordered. you do not have to pay for a subscription that you did not order, but some people may feel intimitated enough to send money, then they will have a subscription. CI is behind this scam, so beware of this crooked company. no more CI for me!

Switching to CI I have used JR Cigar in the past and let me tell you, I'll be going with CI from now on. 1: they have a great supply like JR but have way better cigars at better prices. I ordered 10 Macanudo Inspirado for under $3 per cigar. Oh Yes!! 2: they offer a better First Responder discount or which I am 3: they arrived sooner than expected, when does that happen? As well as having a great location in Tampa Bay, which I frequent, with attentive attractive bartenders (I don't drink) that remember your drink when you return. Putrid customer service I ordered a package of Ghurkas that included two rock glasses. When it arrived the glasses were broken. I sent a message to what CI laughingly calls customer service but it was ignored, as were two subsequent messages. Today as y I sent a message telling CI not to send me any more catalogs or emails, adding that it could go straight to hell. This ends a decades-long business relationship solely because of CI's abysmal lack of customer service or, for that matter, common courtesy.

Poor cigars Poor cigars - I have bought dozens of cigars from them and each time I seem to get 'factory seconds' - just absolute crap that burn poorly - it as if one is buying those cheap cuban knock offs in Mexico - then there is the shipping - I order second day shipping so my order is fresh - 5 days to the door - WTFR - I am finished with this company
