He then checked on its availability (it was from an older model), did some problem-solving and figured out how to make it work for my chair, and made sure the replacement part was shipped out that afternoon. It could not have been easier, thanks to Oscar.

This is the top of the line sliding transfer bench We were looking for a well made sliding shower transfer bench and about gave up until we found the ShowerGlyde. All of the others were made of thin aluminum tubing like a walker is made of and only offered a one-year warranty. ShowerGlyde's tracks are extruded aluminum and the seat travels on ball bearing rollers. We have a wide shower and customer support quickly answered all of our questions regarding sizing and heights. When we opened the box, everything was well packed and the assembly instructions were the most readable ever supplied with a product. Assembly took less than an hour from opening the box to completion using just an allen wrench for a tool. We paid a little more for this than the low quality alternatives, but it was well worth it.
