GBNeeded unusual replacement part I called needing small part that was not listed in the catalog. Oscar went above and beyond in helping me identify the part, finding the part and shipping it out very quickly. He was very pleasant and personable- it was an unexpectedly great customer experience which seems rare these days.

GBGreat chair, expensive parts to fix I suppose the slow shipping was the main disappointment, followed closely by a 2000+ shower chair having 1 wheel/brake go bad and having to pay 100 + shipping, for 1 replacement wheel?. You should know that our insurance didn’t cover this chair but glad we have it. I take it back, needing the wheel was worse than shipping.

GBThis is the top of the line sliding transfer bench We were looking for a well made sliding shower transfer bench and about gave up until we found the ShowerGlyde. All of the others were made of thin aluminum tubing like a walker is made of and only offered a one-year warranty. ShowerGlyde's tracks are extruded aluminum and the seat travels on ball bearing rollers. We have a wide shower and customer support quickly answered all of our questions regarding sizing and heights. When we opened the box, everything was well packed and the assembly instructions were the most readable ever supplied with a product. Assembly took less than an hour from opening the box to completion using just an allen wrench for a tool. We paid a little more for this than the low quality alternatives, but it was well worth it.

GBWe love our 2nd hand shower buddy tilt… We love our 2nd hand shower buddy tilt chair. I’ve had to replace the tilt cable and shocks and both experiences have been great. They are very knowledgeable and take time to explain everything from how they work, how to remove and replace them through FaceTime. My only recommendation & reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because of the price. These chairs are ridiculously expensive as is all handicap equipment. If a person is disabled and needs equipment for safety and improved quality of life but their only income is limited, it’s near impossible to afford the needed handicapped equipment. Most times cost is what prevents a disabled person from getting what they need and ultimately that leads to more health problems. I would give 5 stars if cost was more affordable.
