No customer service. No follow up. Never again. I ordered a VivaLift!® Elegance 2 Lift Recliner for my 90 year old Father-in-Law who needs assistance with standing and has extreme mobility issues. The order was placed on line on 1/20, and the chair delivered on 1/29. The chair was put together per the instructions, and nothing worked. The chair was motionless and the controller that instructs the chair to move and lift in various ways was heating up to the point you couldn't hold it. Obviously, something was terribly wrong and the hand controller, in my opinion, was a fire hazard in its current state. I immediately called and reported the issue to the manufacturer and MedMart. And this is where the run-around and finger pointing begins. Please keep in mind that the chair is not functional, and we had to order a rental chair to help my Father-in-Law. Additional expense that we should not have incurred. Based on the call to the manufacturer, they sent me to a third part repair service. I spoke to their technician on 1/31. Went through all recommended steps. Nothing - the chair remained motionless and the hand controller heated up. I called MedMart, a ticket was opened. They were looking for a tech: "The manufacturer is locating a technician in your area." Multiple calls, more run around, and no estimate for a tech or potential repair. Not a mention of replacement. Yesterday, 2/2, I asked to escalate the scenario at MedMart and Pride Mobility. Both assured me of a call back within the hour from a manager. Both companies explained at length and in nauseating detail that their customer service has no way - literally no mechanism - to transfer me to a supervisor or manager to help resolve the issue. My only option was a call back. By this point I am exhausted, angry, and feeling used. My Father-in-Law remains in a rented chair, and we await a call back that I'm not sure is going to happen. A point to note, after several calls to MedMart's customer service, and yes I was animated and angry at the situation, MedMart's customer service representative hung up on me. She willfully and purposefully disconnected the call. She couldn't have cared less. These companies quickly took my payment. Both companies are not quickly resolving the issue. At this point, unless expedited measures are employed to resolve the issue, I will never purchase anything again from MedMart or Pride Mobility. For validation purposes here's the order number: 1000186621. And here's the ticket number: 601102.

Appalling service from Pride Mobility I ordered a replacement chair cover for my Igo (the soft spongy cover which fades easily in the sunlight). This was ordered through my local store. They told me not to hold my breath and by golly they were not wring! After 2 weeks I changed and they in turn chased pride who said they would get to it when they get to it. After another few days I called Pride direct and they flatly and rudely refused to talk to me, quoting a load ofData protection BS - this is not what GDPR in intended for. Still waiting....

Pride Baja Bandit Mobilty Scooter Review I've written down my thoughts on the Baja Bandit if anyone's thinking of buying one, I'd tried to cover everything sorry if I drag on 🤣 As predicted its not a mudplugger or rock hopper, you won't be crossing sandunes or ploughed fields - It's fine with say up to 2 inches of gravel or loose stones, just keep the the throttle pinned to push through if needed. Only time I've bottomed out was in deep stones or the rear axle straddling a ridge / rocks, it has a substantial skid plate protecting motor etc so all good. You just adapt your driving to this. Up 2 inch+ kerbs no probs, down even larger. I've yet to find an incline it won't handle, similarly a decent. Electromechanical brake is very good, not used hand operated brake once. To be fair you'd probably be fine with just the one battery, see how you go, have yet to get battery meter off "full" yet. Recharge 1 to 14 hours, on or off scooter. Lights excellent - headlight amazing! The ride is firm, yes wud be more plush with pneumatics, but personally I'll live without. There's a spare spring for the seat shock absorber which I fitted for my weight and has made ride better. You get a bit of tiller rattle going across cobblestones etc but its not as bad as smaller wheeled scooters. Seat adjusts back / forward . The riding position for a mid size scooter is surprisingly comfy, seat itself is plush. One thing - the throttle is on the right hand only, you'd have to check if you need it on the left. Dismantling / re assembly straight forward, largest piece around 1m x 550mm & 31kg so 2 may well be needed to lift. Still small enough to go along a crowded pavement or around supermarkets. Quality seems good - "robust?" Time will tell. Welds look great and an ABS deck means no worries about paint scratching. Value? Against most chinese transportables it looks expensive, against a full size off roader it's half price. I suppose this is in a class of its own at present, an 8mph off road 4 wheel transportable scooter that's also road legal, so only you can decide if its worth the money. For me it's taking me places I've not been before with confidence, you could even say it's life changing. In summary the bugbears - You will bottom out over rocks occasionally, more than 2" of soft stuff & you will get stuck, largest part is a bit to heavy for one to lift in / out of a vehicle.

Fangerous chair & poor customer service! Ordered a power wheelchair. Said in stock and ready to ship. Waited months cos not in stock. Kept beeping, told me that's normal. Finally someone fixed it (wasn't normal afterall). The controls are confusing. Forward moves the chair DOWN, backwards moves it UP. Opposite of any known joystick. No safety thing to turn it off if you're out of it. I ended up running over my foot and falling cos of how it operates. Not to mention the arm/joystick panel bent down when I tried to grab the arm for support! Been waiting weeks for someone to pick it up and get it out of here. Was told last week, but then said no cos they're waiting for a shipping box. How many weeks does that take?? Ridiculous.

Ripoff Ripoff. During the warranty, my medial lift-chair stopped working. The backlighting worked on the remote but there was no more chair motion. Their owner's manual has a troubleshooting page but it said nothing about a simple reset and when I called their dealer who sold it to me – Medical n Mobility (MedMo) - on West Lake Mead boulevard, their tech said nothing about a reset. They came out and charged me $49.95 to unplug it from the wall socket, wait 10 seconds and plug it back because now even transformers have a chip in them and this causes the chip to reset so the chair would work again. If you're going to have a troubleshooting page in the manual how difficult would it be to suggest cycling the power because your transfomer has a chip in it? I’m a 72 year old senior on a fixed income and this ripoff is antithetical to the basics of customer service and customer relations.
