GBOH MY GOODNESS IT WORKS! Oh My Goodness... It is working. I released 55 lbs. in the first 8 weeks on the Greenroots eating plan. I am type 2 diabetic on insulin and have struggled getting my blood sugars down. My blood sugars were in the high 300's and sometimes 400's and the medications were just not working. My blood sugars came down within the first two weeks and are averaging between the 70's and 120's; and insulin doses are decreasing. What makes this program so satisfying is the variety of foods including fruits, carbs, etc. and the amazing support. This is a lifetime doable approach to diabetes and weight reduction. Pryer to that I was diagnosed with AFIB and was told by my cardiologist to have an ablation, which I also put off to long. When I finally went in for my ablation in June 2021, my A1c was an 11 and my sugar was 325 on the day of my surgery.
