GBHad for about a month and quit… Had for about a month and quit immediately. I’m so glad I found this forum because I was starting to think I was crazy for feeling this way. The counselors and doctors have very brash, gaslighty, victim blaming and matter of fact attitudes. I felt worse after every session with them. Definitely a money grab. My counselor was late 10 minutes but she sure cut off on time as soon as the end time came around. They did not help but only made me feel even more depressed. They will really push someone who is on the edge.

GBThis company preys on people needing help. Brightside continued to charge me for services they were not providing. The company told me that I would need to pay an additional $50.00 to meet with a new provider and when I refused continued to charge me for medication management even though they provided no further prescriptions. Even after I asked that my service be cancelled they proceeded to charge me for another month. This company uses predatory billing practices to take advantage of people who need help, but may not have the time or finances to find an in-person provider.

GBDO NOT SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE HERE DO NOT SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE HERE! I had an appointment with a NP by the name of Paul Kariuki, yesterday at 7:30 p.m., which should have raised red flags in the first place. Total waste of money and time. He wasn't interested in any of my symptoms and he claimed that they didn't treat panic disorders although the websites clearly advertises that they do. He also claimed that since I've tried other medications in the past that failed, it was pointless prescribing other medications in the same family. You could see all hope leave my eyes by the end of the appointment. I was shocked. I guess they are making any and everyone nurses and doctors these days because he didn't even try. He gave absolutely no effort or suggestions, NOTHING. It was like paying a stranger for pointless conversation. I should have read the reviews here first.

GBDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I scored a 21/21 on their anxiety test and currently in a seriously bad way. I was prescribed a blood pressure medication and the same old ineffective antidepressants. She didn't even listen to me. Towards the end I just started saying yeah and rushed to get off the call. It's all BS! Yet another "health care professional" has done nothing to help me even when I asked and pleaded. If you have serious anxiety and panic attack disorder, don't expect them to do anything to relieve that stress other than throw the same old ineffective drugs at you and try to up sell you for their therapy services. It's all a money making scheme with no substance. As the title says, don't waste your money.

GBMedication issues There were some billing issues - but nothing outside of normal insurance stuff. I have only done the medication part of the site because that is what my insurance will cover. The original session was pretty impersonal, painless and quick - but it was fine. I was able to ask questions and the provider was knowledgeable. The issue is that my medication issuing has been messy at best. I first got a low dose of medication to try out for a month or so. After that I had an appointment and we upped it to a low therapeutic dose. The issue is they didn't stop the original prescription and both perceptions were issued- which could definitely be an problem with certain medications. Currently, I have a 90 day supply of medication they can only prescribe every 5 months. My pharmacy tried to advocate, but Brightside told me that their system is not perfect and I would pay for another session to get it worked out. I have been without medication for 30 days and looks like I have to wait another month to get my prescription refilled. Another thing (not a reason that should stop you from using the service, but a major annoyance) They ask a questionnaire every two weeks about your mental health status. The choices to the frequency of feelings are - every day, almost every day, several days or never....aren't "almost everyday" and "several days" about the same thing? It is a small thing, but honestly makes it hard to answer. I am looking for another provider - it is safe to be constantly on and off medication due tho their system
