Drinking ionized water We have been using and drinking ionized water for nearly 20 years. We were distributors for Kangen water machines years ago and fell in love with the water. We now have a MXL-9 countertop Life Ionizer, and we’re getting the same clean, energized, structured, hydrogen-rich, oxygen-rich, high pH water for half the price of a Kangen machine. 4 years now and it works great. Plus, Life Ionizers provides a much longer warranty and customer service has been great. Dealing with acid reflux For quite some time I have been dealing with acid reflux due to a duodenal hernia. Barring major chest surgery I am relegated to taking Prilosec antacid on a daily basis to control the excess stomach acid pain. I have found over the past year that drinking the alkali water regularly in conjunction with the antacid has cut my need for Prilosec in half, down to every 'other' day. I can't say for sure it's a direct result of the water, but results are results. Nothing else has changed. I believe the pitcher has had a positive effect on my situation.

Worth the investment, health wise. I spoke with Roberto Lopez regarding a replacement diverter. He provided additional & helpful information regarding our alkaline system. I’ve had the 9100 a while. I liked it so well, I bought another one for my daughter. They both are still working very well. We’ve exchanged both filters at least once, as we do not constantly use alkaline water. Our 9100 rests on our counter top. Convenient & out of the way. I use the water for cooking, especially acidic foods. I keep a fresh gallon jug of alkaline in the refrigerator for drinking, etc. I believe we benefit, health wise, because we use/drink it on a daily basis.
